Weaving In And Out

Wembley 1999

A momentous season for Kingstonian Football Club saw them lift the FA Trophy for the first time, beating Forest Green Rovers 1-0 at Wembley Stadium. A Tarkan Mustafa goal was enough to settle the match. Indeed, both the Conference 'new boys' did themselves proud, but it was eventually Geoff Chapple who picked up his fourth Trophy in only six years. The draw had been extremely tough on Kingstonian, so much so that record FA Trophy winning manager Geoff Chapple claimed that it had been the hardest draw he had ever experienced in the competition.
